Rainy Day Reads

No, not a book list for wet and stormy weather, but a list of what Rainy Day is currently reading and has completed for the year 2012. Though, a few of the books listed will be read when water is falling from the skies. and you, Gentle Reader, are more than welcome to read any of them on this list, during either wet weather or sunny weather or even just plain old gloomy weather.

Rainy Day will list the books she is reading as she begins them. When she finishes the books, she will write a short review or synopsis, whichever seems the most appropriate at that time.

So, at the beginning of this New Year, Rainy Day is reading:

The Emperor and the Wolf: The Lives and Films of Akira Kurosawa and Toshiro Mifune –by Stuart Galbraith IV

Haiku Inspirations –byTom Lowenstein

Steve Jobs –Walter Isaacson

The Art of War for Writers: fiction writing strategies, tactics, and exercises –by James Scott Bell

Beaten, Seared and Sauced: On Becoming a Chef at the Culinary Institute of America –by Jonathan Dixon
